The innumerable statues (mainly by Johann Josef Christian), ornamental motifs (by Johann Michael Feuchtmayr), and paintings (ceiling frescoes by Johann Jakob Zeiller) in the church join together rhythmically in that symphonic unity to which the Germans have given the name 'Gesamtkunstwerk.'
